We have had a great day...our YCLs did a wonderful job of decorating the camp and preparing for everyone's arrival.
After enjoying a yummy lunch, we met all of our campers at orientation....

Our YCLs are the queens of the camp. But remember, they are here to serve--so if you need anything, flag down your YCL and ask. :)
2nd years: You can do anything with Faith, Trust and a little bit of Pixie dust. Help out our 1st years as they adjust to camp life.
3rd years: Remember: the smallest distance between 2 campers is a hug. You've been around; you know what's going on...be there when someone needs some encouragement.
4th years: you rock! As you're busy enjoying your last year as campers, don't forget to serve others. Look up to your YCLs and learn from them so you know what to do for next year.
We played some games and learned some awesome camp songs before we spent the afternoon singing, swimming, and crafting away.
After dinner, Sister Hall introduced our camp theme by sharing Pres. Uchtdorf's talk titled Your Happily Ever After. We had a wonderful discussion on how to use trials and adversity to increase our faith in our Heavenly Father and His plan for us. Some of our YCLs shared their testimonies through song while we had a couple others share very personal experiences about trials they have overcome. It was a very uplifting evening which we finished off with dessert and dancing (that Zumba looked great!)
